Dr. Janne Siren '88 uses a volunterr from the audience to describe how Picasso painted a portrait.

After the presentation, dessert and more conversation took place in the TASIS Snack Bar.

Dr. Siren visited a number of IB art classes and also Architecture and Design class.

Dr. Amy Lehman (mother of TASIS student Max Lehman '13) is the founder of the Lake Tanganyika Floating Health Clinic (LTFHC). LTFHC is an international organization whose mission is to address the problem of health care access and education for isolated communities in the Lake Tanganyika basin/Great Lakes region in Central Africa.

Dr. Lehman addressed the senior class in the Palmer Center.

After the lecture, students were invited to Casa Fleming for dessert and continued discussion.

Dr. Lehman also attended and presented to IB Biology classes.

Dr. Janne Siren '88 talks with Admissions Director Bill Eichner before his presentation on Visual Literacy. Dr. Janne Gallen-Kallela-Sirén '88 has served since 2007 as Director of the Helsinki Art Museum. One of the largest cultural institutions in the Nordic region, the Museum manages the City of Helsinki’s art museums, public art projects and visual arts policies. Janne is also a TASIS Alumnus from the class of 1988.
